Piesek Reksio to
legendarna postać polskich bajek.
W latach 1967-1988 w Studio Filmów Rysunkowych w
Świat Reksia to próba zilustrowania dziecięcym okiem
pozytywne cechy. Swoim zachowaniem uczył i wychowywał.

Reksio, a doggy, is a legendary character of the Polish cartoons.
In the years 1967-1988 in the Animated Film Studio in Bielsko-Biala an
animated series about his fate was produced. It was directed by
Lechosław Marszałek.
At that time 65 episodes of adventures of the lovable dog and his close
friends – the hens, the cats, the other dogs and their owners
– were realized. Reksio’s world is an attempt to
illustrate functioning of the rural backyard, managed by the doggy,
from a child’s perspective.
Thanks to Reksio’s charisma, maintaining law and order was
not difficult there. At the same time he was a very likeable character
with all the positive qualities. His behaviour taught and raised. The
funny ups and downs of this lovely mongrel were mainly emitted as a
bedtime story. To this day Reksio is a friend and role model for young
Poles. His story has also been shown in the Great Britain.
In the English version the same episodes were released as in the Polish
one, but with slight modifications, another sound and music. It has
been produced by Village Production.
