Srebrna moneta kolekcjonerska o nominale 10 Euro, o urzekającym, bogatym w detale i dopracowanym w szczegółach projekcie.

Obverse: the new coin shows a view of the abbey from the slopes of the Leopoldsberg, the last foothill of the Alps. One sees clearly the Romanesque-Gothic basilica as well as the great copper dome surmounted by the imperial crown.

Reverse: the reverse shows the Gothic cloisters with a stained glass window of St. Leopold suspended in the foreground to heighten the three dimensional effect of the design.

10 Euro - Klosterneuburg Abbey - proof

Day of issue: April 16, 2008

The new silver . 10.- coin shows a view of the abbey on the obverse. One clearly sees the Romanesque and Gothic church. Behind it are the Baroque buildings and domes of the abbey. The crown of the Holy Roman Empire adorns the central copper dome.

The reverse shows the Gothic cloisters with a stained glass window of St. Leopold III in the foreground. As with previous coins in this series, the chief engraver of the mint, Thomas Pesendorfer, has managed to achieve an almost three dimensional depth in the line of the mediaeval cloisters.
